4. Bryce Love is the Pac-12’s best running back

The Pac-12 has a lot of good running backs. USC’s Ronald Jones II showed how good he really is against Stanford. Washington’s Myles Gaskin, Arizona State’s Kalen Ballage, Oregon’s Royce Freeman, and Colorado’s Phillip Lindsay are just a few examples of all the star power.

Stanford’s junior running back Bryce Love put his best foot forward in Week 2. Love rushed for 160 yards and one touchdown on only 17 carries. The efficiency that Love has shown over his career are nothing short of insane.

Love’s yards per carry number sits at 11.3 through two games this year. He’s never averaged less than 7.0 yards per carry during any of his three seasons with the Cardinal. That’s something that will cause NFL scouts to drool over.

Jones II rushed for 116 yards and two touchdowns. However, even USC’s leading rusher, Stephen Carr, amassed 41 less yards than Love. He will continue to prove that he is not only one of the best in the Pac-12, but in the entire country.
