1. Keller Chryst needs a bigger role

Senior quarterback Keller Chryst has played mostly mistake-free football since he won the starting job last year. Over his three year playing career, Chryst has thrown 15 touchdowns and two interceptions.

Chryst has not thrown a single interception so far this year. He racked up 171 passing yards and two touchdowns. Chryst also completed 15 of his 28 passing attempts. If Stanford can figure out a way to ease Chryst into a bigger role with the offense, they will see huge results.

Utilizing weapons like Schultz, Wedington, and junior receiver Trent Irwin are key to Stanford’s success. Chryst does have the ability to be a proficient passer that throws for more than 200 yards each week without making many mistakes.
