Ohio State football vs. Army: Preview, predictions, live stream
Ohio State football will look to get back in the win column this week as they host the Army Black Knights. Here’s all you need to know about the game.
The Ohio State football team isn’t in terrible shape entering Week 3. After all, they’re still ranked No. 8 in the AP Poll with plenty of games left. They face the Army Black Knights this week in the team’s first-ever meeting. The Ohio State Buckeyes are coming off their first home loss since 2015 when they lost 17-14 to Michigan State.
The Ohio State offense was decent in the running game but their passing game, or lack thereof once again showed itself against the second-ranked Oklahoma Sooners. Running back J.K. Dobbins led the way in the rushing game with 72 rushing yards for a rushing touchdown. Quarterback J.T. Barrett had 66 rushing yards, 183 passing yards and an interception.
The Army Black Knights football team currently sits at 2-0 on the season. Their offense is averaging 417.5 rushing yards per game running the Triple Option. They won their game last week over the Buffalo Bulls with 14 points in the fourth quarter. They trailed 17-7 entering the fourth quarter.

Keys to victory
The Ohio State football team took a step backward on offense against the Sooners. Wide receivers Parris Campbell, Binjimen Victor and Johnnie Dixon combined for just six receptions and 56 receiving yards against them.
In their season opener, Campbell alone had six receptions for 136 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown. The team needs to solve the puzzle in the passing game if they hope to recover in the rankings. The schedule only gets tougher from here.

Prediction
The Ohio State Buckeyes shouldn’t have trouble with the Black Knights this week. There will be a renewed focus after last week’s humbling home loss. Quarterback J.T. Barrett should come out playing a lot less indecisive and worst-case scenario, he can run the ball. Ohio State wins by a lot here.
Final Score: Ohio State 45, Army 10
