College GameDay heads to Louisville this week for the top-15 contest between the Cardinals and Clemson. Here are 3 bold predictions for the ACC showdown.

Last year, Clemson and Louisville played a down-to-the-wire thriller in South Carolina that helped propel the Tigers to the College Football Playoff. It was an instant classic between the ACC Atlantic contenders, as quarterbacks Deshaun Watson and Lamar Jackson combined for over 850 yards of offense and eight touchdowns in the 42-36 showdown.

This year, only one of the two quarterbacks is back for another installment of this series. Jackson, the defending Heisman Trophy winner, returns for another chance to take down the Tigers. But Watson has moved on to the NFL with the Houston Texans. Thus Dabo Swinney and his staff are now relying on Kelly Bryant as their new quarterback as they try to defend their national title.

College GameDay is headed to Louisville for the second straight season for what stands as the feature game of Week 3. When ESPN’s show came to Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium last year, the home team walked away with a 63-20 blowout of Florida State.

Will this game be another high-octane shootout between two well-balanced foes? Or will it end up a mismatch like the Seminoles rout? Click ahead for three bold predictions about how things will shake out in Louisville between the Cardinals and Clemson on Saturday.
