The Missouri Tigers are 1-1 so far this season but against 1-1 Purdue, they may want to be extra careful in game preparation.

The Boilermakers have looked like a revitalized squad under head coach Jeff Brohm and it’s showed. Behind their two quarterbacks (David Blough and Elijah Sindelar), Brohm has been able to get the most out of his squad this season and it’s showed.

They lost by a possession to 14th-ranked Louisville in Week 1 and at one point held the lead late in the fourth.

Blough threw for 235 passing yards and three touchdowns on 11-of-13 passing in the Boilermakers’ 44-21 win over Ohio last week. Sindelar finished with 60 passing yards and a touchdown.

The Purdue offense completed a touchdown reception to four different players on their roster. They’re a team that likes to spread the ball out and beat you with multiple looks.

The Missouri Tigers will need to keep the Purdue offense in check or SEC football could find itself having to defend itself against the Big Ten once again.

Quarterback Drew Lock will need to play better, he threw two interceptions last week. He threw seven touchdown passes and just one interception in the team’s season opening 72-43 victory over Missouri State.
