2. Aggies could already be looking past Louisiana

This would be the worst-case scenario. Just like last week against Nicholls State, Texas A&M could be overlooking its opponent. The Aggies probably figured they’d walk all over Nicholls State at home last week, but when the opponent punched, Texas A&M had a tough time countering.

The Aggies pulled out the close win, but midway through the fourth quarter, fans were sweating it out. There was a real chance that Nicholls could have come away with the upset win and Baylor would have had competition for the “worst loss of the week” award.

With Louisiana up next, the Aggies should have learned from their mistakes in Week 2, but did they? We will soon find out, but this week will be even tougher to stay on task seeing as the SEC regular season begins the following week. Is Texas A&M already looking ahead to Arkansas?

I’d hate to even believe that’s the case, especially since the Aggies failed to put Nicholls away last week with Louisiana looming, but it’s a good possibility. Texas A&M wants to prove itself in SEC play, but it might forget that there’s one more team left on the non-conference schedule.
