Baylor head coach Matt Rhule might have the toughest job in college football. He has to turn around a program that is amid one of the biggest scandals in college football history. This Baylor team lost so much talent last year.

However, no one expected them to start the season the way they did. Baylor started 0-3 through their non-conference schedule. Only one of those three losses should was excusable. The Duke Blue Devils are a tough game, and it was on the road away from Texas.

Baylor did hold strong against Duke for most of the game. Duke was a 14-point favorite entering the game and only won by 14 points. Baylor held Duke quarterback Daniel Jones without a single passing touchdown.

What Rhule is doing right now is bigger than football. Yet, he does have to show some signs of progress on the field. Losing to teams like the Liberty Flames and UTSA Roadrunners is not acceptable and does not bode well for Baylor in the Big 12.
