Here are the announcer pairings for the best, biggest, and most anticipated games of the third week of the college football season.

Week 3 will seem a bit slow when it comes to marquee games. There are just two matchups of Top 25 teams this week for the networks to send their best announcer pairings. While the hype might not be there across the board, at the top it has “Game of the Year” type potential.

The undisputed game of the week is No. 3 Clemson at No. 14 Louisville. College GameDay has multiple good options most weeks, but this week there could be no real debate. Last year’s iteration was one of the closest and exciting games of the year. This year’s edition removes some of Clemson’s offensive firepower for a shootout potential and makes it a strength against strength matchup. The most exciting and dynamic offensive player in college football goes against, arguably, its best defense on ABC in primetime.

The only other Top 25 game will be shown by the CBS team.  While Tennesse-Florida is a major SEC rivalry, some of the shine has come off it. These teams might be in the Top 25 but just barely. The Gators got dominated by Michigan in their only game so far. The Vols should be 1-1 if not for Georgia Tech being unable to cap one of the best individual performances we will see this season from TaQuon Marshall.

Your day will most likely begin and end with the Pac-12, as their teams are spread across the country in Week 3. No. 25 UCLA is hitting the road to play at Memphis at what will be 10 a.m. back in L.A. In the late night games, Ole Miss plays Cal on ESPN, and No. 19 Stanford plays San Diego State on CBS Sports Network.
