Texas A&M. OFFENSIVE LINE . C. . OL

Out of all the positions on the offensive side of the ball, the offensive line might have needed the most work for Texas A&M. With a young quarterback, they needed to step up and help Mond ease into the offense heading into SEC play.

Once the Aggies do start facing SEC defenses, the challenge becomes much greater. They’ll have to hold strong if their offense wants to continue the momentum built up from this game in the second half against ULL.

The Texas A&M run game did not have near as much room to work in the first half as they did in the second half. Considering how bad ULL was in their first two games against the run (129th in the country), the Aggie offensive line should have played much better.

At times the offensive line protected Kellen Mond well. He had enough time to break the game open in the second half and the run game was given quite a bit of room as well. That is a very encouraging sign for the Aggies.
