Kansas and Baylor will ultimately battle for the bottom spot in the Big 12. However, Baylor did at least compete with their Week 3 opponent in a quality Duke football team. The Jayhawks lost by 12-points to a Group of Five opponent in the Ohio Bobcats.

Moving forward, Kansas could still compete with some of the lower tier teams in the Big 12. We’ll learn a lot about them when they face West Virginia this weekend. We’re used to seeing Kansas at the bottom of the Big 12, yet that could change this year.

Head coach David Beaty seems to have this program moving in the right direction and that’s a good sight for the Big 12. Quarterback Peyton Bender has played decently well so far, with more than 1,000 passing yards and six touchdowns through three games.
