Arkansas Football: 10 bold predictions for Hogs in SEC play
6. Razorback defense lets up less than 10 points to Texas A&M
One of the better games of the weekend to watch will be Arkansas and Texas A&M. It is the SEC opener for both teams and both head coaches are on some sort of hot seat. However, Texas A&M’s Kevin Sumlin is in a much worse situation than Bret Bielema.
It seems like the Aggies finally figured out their offensive situation last week against the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin Cajuns. True freshman quarterback Kellen Mond and the entire Aggie backfield put together a tremendous performance.
Yet, much of the reason that Texas A&M went on a 31-point run to win 45-21 against ULL was their defense. Armani Watts and Tyrel Dodson each got at least one pick and helped the Aggies pull away from ULL.
This week, Texas A&M faces a whole other animal in the Razorbacks. The Arkansas defense played well against TCU in Week 2 and their offense will be ready for this one. Either way, it will be a very entertaining game to watch and the Arkansas defense should come up huge.
