3. Logan Woodside will have at least 400 yards and five touchdowns

To be frank, the Rockets’ senior quarterback Logan Woodside is pretty (insert whatever word you would like) good. He is the catalysis of the Rockets offense and has helped his team to a 3-0 record. If you have been following this program you know Woodside blew up last season along with Kareem Hunt who is now beasting in the NFL for the Kansas City Chiefs.

So far this season in three games, Woodside has thrown for 1,004 yards (no that isn’t a typo) on 60-of-91 passing for an impressive 65.9 percent completion rate, eight touchdowns and one interception. The Rockets’ offensive line has done a great job at getting their star quarterback upright, only giving up three sacks so far this season. This doesn’t bode well for the Hurricanes’ defense.

Woodside threw for 458 yards on 22-of-33 passing, six touchdowns and one interception last Saturday against Tulsa. That is “slinging” the rock right there.

This week, he will play a more athletic bunch in the Hurricanes, but because of their inactivity, the senior will have the upper hand. Woodside will follow up his hot start with at least 400 yards and five touchdowns through the air against Miami on Saturday. Because of the balance Toledo keeps on a weekly basis, this is something very attainable for the gunslinger — count on it.
