Oklahoma State football faces their toughest test of the season so far. Here are three bold predictions for the Cowboys’ game against TCU in Week 4.

One of the biggest games of the weekend involves the No. 6 ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys and the No. 16 ranked TCU Horned Frogs. This is the first week of Big 12 action, and Oklahoma State vs. TCU is likely the most significant. ESPN’s College Gameday probably would have been in Stillwater for the game if it hadn’t elected to go to New York City instead.

The winner of this game emerges as possibly the best team in the Big 12, barring the Oklahoma Sooners. Other Big 12 action this weekend includes the Sooners taking on the Baylor Bears and the West Virginia Mountaineers facing the Kansas Jayhawks.

Last week, Oklahoma State defeated the Pittsburgh Panthers, on the road, at Heinz Field. Senior quarterback Mason Rudolph threw for nearly 500 yards and five touchdowns as the Cowboys dominated Pitt by the final score of 59-21.

Meanwhile, TCU faced Group of Five opposition in quarterback Ben Hicks and the SMU Mustangs. TCU was given a bigger challenge than expected as the Mustangs held tough every step of the way in the first half. Darius Anderson and Kyle Hicks led the Frogs to a big second half resulting in a 56-36 victory at home.

Last year, Oklahoma State hit the road in their contest with TCU, at Amon G. Carter Stadium. It resulted in a 31-6 victory for the Pokes and extended their winning streak over the Frogs to two games. This year, Oklahoma State is a 10.5-point favorite over TCU. Boone Pickens Stadium will be the site of this matchup, at 2:30 p.m. CT.

Now, let’s take a look at three bold predictions for Oklahoma State’s Week 4 matchup with the TCU Horned Frogs.
