2. Royce Freeman will run for 150 — again

Royce Freeman is back and healthy. That’s not such a bold prediction as he’s cracked 150 yards rushing in the first three weeks and already ran for nine touchdowns. He is an explosive athlete averaging over 5.5 yards per carry in all four seasons in Eugene.

Freeman, the 231-pound monster from California, is trying to cement himself as a first-round running back in the 2018 NFL Draft. Running off four straight 150-plus yard and multiple-touchdown games in a row can do that sort of thing for your draft status.

Freeman will be going up against a Sun Devil defense that gives up 500-plus yards per game, is ranked 121st overall in total defense and is giving up just shy of 38 points per game in 2017. That’s abysmal defense, especially considering they’ve played two lower-tier teams in New Mexico State and San Diego State. We all knew Texas Tech would score their points, but the Sun Devils have had trouble stopping everyone so far.

What can a bad defense do against a guy like Freeman? Not much. He will run for over 150 yards and three touchdowns in the Oregon Ducks victory in Tempe.
