Bold prediction: The Utes trail in the fourth quarter. There’s something about Kyle Whittingham’s teams and tough games. The Utes will give the big dogs trouble, but they’ve also been known to lay an egg from time to time. They won’t go as far as to lose to Pac-12 bottom feeder Arizona, but Rich Rodriguez‘ and Co. will, even if just for a few quarters, think they have the upset in the bag.

Bold prediction: Rashaad Penny rushes for 200 yards. There might be 700 yards combined rushing in this game alone. Penny has rushed for at least 175 yards in each of his first three games. While his second 200 yard game of the season doesn’t sound like too much to ask, keep in mind that Air Force opponents are averaging just 3.5 yards per attempt in 2017. By that rate, Penny would need to tote the rock 58 times. He won’t need that many touches.

Bold prediction: South Florida drops in the polls. After the impressive win by San Diego State in Week 3 the upside for this South Florida team has been slightly curbed. The Bulls won’t have the opportunity for a statement win of that magnitude this season and don’t have another Power-5 team on the schedule. The Bulls win, and they’ll do that some more, but it’s not going to matter unless the Aztecs stumble.

Bold prediction: Kentucky beats Florida by three touchdowns. The Gators seem to be playing on borrowed luck. The Feleipe Franks touchdown to win the game last weekend was spectacular, but the offense simply can’t sustain a scoring drive. Florida’s defense has more offensive touchdowns than it’s offense in 2017. That’s bad news against a Kentucky team that is going to score some points.
