Florida vs Kentucky: 3 bold predictions for Week 4 SEC bout
By Shelbie Warr
1. Kentucky’s 30-game losing streak ends Saturday
Over the last thirty years, a few things have been almost undeniable. The sun will rise in the morning, Kentucky will lose to Florida in football and the sun will set at night. That all could change on Saturday night in Lexington. The sun will rise, the sun will set and the Wildcats may just come out victorious.
It seems likely that the ‘Cats win this one, as many of Florida’s weaknesses matchup well with Kentucky’s strengths. If they can control the offensive tempo of the game, keep up their strong defensive presence and all in all go into this matchup with their heads held high and their confidence higher- they may just win.
Now, this game won’t be an easy one. It never is. These two teams have a history and Florida has a streak to protect. Stephen Johnson will have to protect the football, his offensive line will have to protect him and his weapons have to continue what they’ve been doing all season to date.
But most of all, the Wildcats have to turn these field goals of theres into touchdowns. It may not come back to bite them this week- though it might- but by the end of the season it could turn what should be a win into a loss because they can’t finish a drive.

As great as Austin MacGinnis is, the Wildcats will have to put a couple touchdowns on the board to keep this great season going. Look for them to take down the Gators this year though, and do it in style.
