UCLA Football: 5 reasons the Bruins will beat Stanford
1. The legend of Josh Rosen will live on
Josh Rosen is impressive. Not only is he one of the best quarterbacks in college football, but he already has people talking about “the legend of Josh Rosen.” After the Texas A&M comeback, the legend was in full force. Everyone was talking about how the junior quarterback was the next great college quarterback and No. 1 pick.
However, two games later, he struggled to pull off another, albeit small, comeback against Memphis. The Tigers rushed him and forced him into some uncomfortable throws which happened to get picked off.
After the game, he admitted he was trying to play hero ball and needed to follow the play more. You will see more conservative play out of Rosen on Saturday night, but he’s still going to have a whale of a performance.
Stanford has allowed just 199 passing yards per game, but expect Rosen to pass for over 300 yards and three touchdowns. The Stanford secondary is still young and Rosen will take advantage of that.
