3. TCU is a force to be reckoned with in the Big 12

The TCU Horned Frogs put the Big 12 on notice with their huge victory over the Cowboys. Quarterback Kenny Hill and company did the unthinkable by going into Stillwater and coming out with the victory. Hill went 22-for-33 for 228 passing yards and a touchdown, he also threw an interception.

The Horned Frogs had 221 rushing yards as a team, getting 160 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns from running back Darius Anderson.

TCU came in the game with some serious focus this week and with good reason. They were going up against a team ranked in the top 10 in scoring and defense. To answer the call, the Horned Frogs didn’t have their first three-and-out until 7:25 left in the game.

They scored on four of their first five possessions and never trailed Oklahoma State. The team went 10-of-17 on third down conversions, earning 31 first downs on the day.

While many looked at Oklahoma State as the team to watch in the Big 12, TCU has quietly become a problem in the conference as well. They looked ready to play against one of the most top offenses in the country. They’ll still face Oklahoma later on this season but for now, they sit atop the conference as one of the best. Now, the Horned Frogs are 1-3 in Stillwater.
