Texas A&M football is locked in a back-and-forth game with the Arkansas Razorbacks. Christian Kirk helped his team out with six points of his own.

A junior, Christian Kirk already holds the school record for punt return touchdowns with five. Last season against New Mexico the Aggie speedster returned two kicks for six. At this point there’s plenty of film widely available to everyone and it all tells the same story. Do not kick to Christian Kirk.

Well, Bret Bielema and Arkansas have always been a bit unconventional. After driving the length of the field to take the lead the Razorbacks boomed the ball deep. They were ready for one more defensive stand, but they weren’t ready for Christian Kirk to take it the distance by himself.

The first kick return touchdown of his career came when his team needed it most in the fourth quarter against Arkansas.

Surprisingly that was the first kickoff that Kirk had returned for a touchdown in his career. Regardless of whether or not its a punt or a kickoff, the jury is out and it’s a unanimous decision: Kick to Christian Kirk at your own peril.

Every time the Aggies and Razorbacks meet the game gets interesting. Kirk scored that touchdown with little less than six minutes on the clock. That would still give both teams time to drive the length of the field and score.

Texas A&M would answer the Arkansas touchdown with a drive into Razorback territory. Sumlin would elect to play it safe and settle for a field goal to force over time. Daniel LaCamera would deliver and after all of that shenanigans, the Aggies and the Hogs ended regulation tied 43-43. Will Christian Kirk have time to make another game-changing play?
