The ACC football power rankings sees a shakeup in the ranks after top-ranked Florida State fell in their conference opener.

The Atlantic Coast Conference loves parity. Don’t believe me? Well, the Virginia Cavaliers beat the Boise State Broncos 42-23 on the road in Week 4. The Florida State Seminoles are 0-2 and unranked for the first time since the 2011 season. Also, don’t look now, but the Duke Blue Devils are 4-0 after winning the Victory Bell once again over the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Predictions aside, five teams remain undefeated this season in the ACC as we enter Week 5. Five teams are also ranked in the AP Poll despite the removal of Florida State, who was previously ranked No. 12.

The Florida State Seminoles are the only winless team in the conference after their two-week layoff from the football field. Their rust showed as they fell 27-21 at home to the NC State Wolfpack.

Outside of them, seven teams are halfway there to bowl eligibility with at least three victories this season. Four of those teams are allowing under 20 points per game on defense, an impressive feat considering how deep into the season we are.

Here’s how the current ACC power rankings have shaken out after Week 4.
