Keith Ford is, simply put, a truck. The senior running back didn’t let a strong, physical Arkansas front hinder his forward progress and finished the game with 14 carries for 102 yards and two touchdowns. His counterpart Trayveon Williams added a score of his own, but it was definitely the Ford show at AT&T Stadium on Saturday. Both scores, as well as Williams addition, can be seen in the video below.

Texas A&M will need both of these young men to keep their engines running strong as the season wears on as the defenses will only get stronger and more talented. However, what should be noted is that Ford had all of seven yards heading into the locker room at the half. The Aggies couldn’t seem to establish a running game and that was troublesome. However, Ford found another gear it seems and averaged almost 10 yards a carry come the second half.

Ford sits second on the team in total rush yards, currently at 232 yards, but leads the team in rushing touchdowns with five. Look for those numbers to continue to increase and for a fight for the top spot between Williams and Ford. He has more than earned a shot and being the top back for the team as he fights for every single yard.

That fight and determination is what earned him a helmet sticker this week.
