Louisville football dominated the lowly Kent State Golden Flashes 42-3. Here are five overreactions to the Cardinals Week 4 victory.

The Cardinals got back on the winning track on Saturday. They outgained Kent State 539 to 150. Both sides of the ball turned out a solid performance and Louisville achieved the desire result: a win. Here are five overreactions from the win.

1. Lamar Jackson is human

After having a rough game against Clemson last week, he only had four incompletions on Saturday. Unfortunately two of them were to Kent State. Jackson was 18-of-22 passing for 299 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. He also ran for 34 yards and one touchdown. Not a bad game for a quarterback, but when you are looked at like Jackson it was just an okay game because of the interceptions.

This just proves that Jackson is human, but going from a 50 percent completion percentage to 81.8 percent completion percentage is the big plus for Louisville fans. I know they were playing Kent State, but in the long run this is a huge plus.

Jackson needs to get over this turnover bug sooner than later. He’s accumulated three turnovers in the last two weeks. Jackson is this generation Michael Vick so the more adversity he goes through earlier in the season the better he will play later in the season. That’s the end goal for the Cardinals fans and the team.

Jackson that threw a few interceptions, but nobody is above a few turnovers. It’s not time to panic.
