Derrius Guice. 15. player. 45. . Running Back. LSU

Current options for the Denver Broncos in the backfield include former Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles and C.J. Anderson. Both Charles and Anderson are not getting any younger and are not permanent options for the Broncos moving into the future.

LSU running back Derrius Guice plays in a different style offense with the Tigers than the Broncos run. However, that could ultimately end up helping out Denver’s offense. Guice is one of the most physical runners in college football and was able to help LSU fans forget about Leonard Fournette.

While Guice was held out of LSU’s last game against the Syracuse Orange, he does not have a big injury history in college which bodes well for his draft stock. Chances are that Guice ends up falling in the middle of the first round.

He’s just too intriguing of a prospect for more than half of the NFL team to pass him up. Adding a running back like Guice or Saquon Barkley brings in a player that contributes to an offense as soon as they touch the field.
