There’s quite a few positions that the Carolina Panthers could use some help at. The entire secondary is one of their biggest needs. It would not be surprising to see them build around quarterback Cam Newton either.
Daryl Worley and James Bradberry start at the cornerback position for the Panthers currently. There is not much depth behind Worley and Bradberry either. This sticks out as a huge red flag for the Panthers defense moving forward.
LSU defensive backs are never a bad move to go with. Kevin Toliver is the next man up as the leader in the LSU secondary. Through two games, Toliver has not made much noise. And most of that is due to opposing teams throwing away from him.
Toliver missed the season opener for LSU against the BYU Cougars. And his injury history could end up scaring away some teams. However, the Panthers are a team known to take risks on their cornerbacks.
