3. Arkansas gives up 150 yards passing

When you look at stats from New Mexico State, there is one stat that stands out and that’s passing yards. NMSU threw for 398 yards against Arizona State University, 401 yards against UNM, 286 yards against Troy and 283 yards versus UTEP.

NMSU is going to take this game to the air all day. Not only do I see exactly what’s going to happen but so does Arkansas and company. I have enough faith in defensive coordinator Paul Rhoads to get the Hogs ready for defending the pass on Saturday.

It may seem like a lot of passing yards but keep in mind that the Aggies are built to do just that. They put up ridiculous numbers through the air but Arkansas isn’t going to make it easy.

The Hogs held TCU to 166 yards in their 28-7 loss. As of yet, that’s the lowest amount of passing the Frogs have had against anyone. Arkansas will give up some yards in the air, however, they won’t let the Aggies put up the kind of numbers they have against everyone else.
