2. USC holds Wazzu under 30 points

The calling card of this Wazzu team is their fast-paced offense that can point up a large amount of points in a hurry. Luke Falk leads a passing game that has put up more than 1,700 yards and 17 touchdowns. Falk himself, tossed 14 touchdowns with only one pick so far.

Yet, if we learned one thing from this Wazzu offense at the end of the 2016 campaign, it’s that they struggle against talented and physical defenses. The Washington Huskies, Colorado Buffaloes, and Minnesota Golden Gophers each held the Cougars under 25-points in three consecutive losses to finish off last season.

USC is, by far, the toughest opponent that the Cougars have faced so far. The next toughest would likely be the Boise State Broncos, a team that was handled by the Virginia Cavaliers by more than a 20-point margin. The Trojans are going to be a next level sort of opponent for the Cougars to have to deal with in Week 5.
