2. The Ohio State defense will dominate

The Buckeyes defense held the Rebels to 264 total yards on Saturday and under 100 yards passing (88 yards) which is a great step forward for this young group. Now we know UNLV isn’t a top tier team, but it is a lot better than giving up over 300-plus yards in multiple weeks to start the season.

Against Nebraska, Rutgers only mustered up 196 total yards, while Nebraska has some talent on defense they aren’t the caliber of Ohio State. I expect this to be a total team effort by Ohio State on the road. They will have at least two interceptions, five sacks and keep them under 200 yards of total offense.

Ohio State won 58-0 last year in Columbus, so I expect Rutgers to have a better showing on Saturday, but this young unit will be hungry to show the masses they are legit. Just remember Rutgers only gained 196 total yards last week, but they average 327 yards and ranked 111th in the nation.

So, domination will happen on Saturday the stars are aligned for this to happen it is nothing that can be done.
