Pac-12 football was turned on its head last weekend when a series of upset rippled through the middle of the conference. Who wound up on top entering Week 5?

All hell broke loose in the Pac-12 in Week 4. I had to rip up the Week 4 Pac-12 Power Rankings and essentially start from scratch. Through the first three weeks, the Pac-12 had already shown it was the best conference. Week 4 only solidified that statement, as parity was on full display.

The next eight weeks are going to be absolute pandemonium. I would not be surprised to see the conference winner to have two losses. While that would display the strength of the conference, it would be horrible for the College Football Playoff, as the committee doesn’t always reward the most deserving teams. Hence, the need for the #Unafraid Top 10 to exists. Three Pac-12 teams made the cut.

Now on to the Week 5 Pac-12 Power Rankings:

The Beavers should thank the heavens they had a BYE in week 4. Nothing was going right for Oregon State. Hopefully head coach Gary Anderson used to bye to get his team headed in the right direction. If not, The Beavers are going to have a long and miserable time in their remaining 8 games. Washington, who was firing on all cylinders against Colorado rolls into Corvallis. The goal should be to keep the game close.

Week 5 Opponent: Washington
