1) Vanderbilt Commodores @ No. 21 Florida Gators

Sept. 30, 12:00pm ET, ESPN

The 21st-ranked Florida Gators should be on upset alert this week when they host the Vanderbilt Commodores. Consider a redemption game for the Commodores. They have something to prove after their 59-0 romp at the hands of the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Vanderbilt quarterback Kyle Shurmur had a poor showing going 4-of-15 with 18 passing yards and interception. He’s still got 721 passing yards and eight passing touchdowns this season. The Commodores will be looking to defeat a short-handed Florida team this week.

Legal problems continue to mount off-the-field for the Gators but they hope the distractions don’t change the outcome on the field. Head coach Jim McElwain named Luke Del Rio the starting quarterback for Week 5.

Del Rio is 9-of-14 with 75 passing yards, a passing touchdown and an interception this season. He was 5-1 as the team’s starter in 2016 with 1,358 passing yards, eight passing touchdowns and eight interceptions before suffering a shoulder injury.

Florida is 2-0 in SEC play so far. A missed receiver in coverage saved the day against the Kentucky Wildcats last week. They won their first conference game against the Tennessee Volunteers on a final Hail Mary pass. What will it come down to for the Gators this week?
