Another week, another dominating performance by Alabama football. The Crimson Tide left Ole Miss in its dust on Saturday night, scoring a 66-3 victory.

Over the past two Saturdays, Alabama has allowed just three total points to two SEC rivals in Vanderbilt and the Rebels. They have scored at least 40 points in every game except the season opener vs. Florida State.

To say Nick Saban has the Crimson Tide playing like men on a mission would be an understatement. The loss in the national title game last year to Clemson obviously still sits on their shoulder as a giant chip.

While just about every single Bama player could have been given a game ball following the thrashing of Ole Miss, here are five that were a little more deserving than the rest.

Maybe I’m just feeding some of the masses, but what true freshman quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has done in “garbage” time cannot be forgotten.

Tagovailoa has been with the Crimson Tide program since early in 2017, and it is quite obvious he has grasped the Bama offense.

Against Ole Miss, the Hawaiian completed 3-of-5 passes for 51 yards and a touchdown, adding another 37 yards on the ground and a score to his day.

He might still be behind Jalen Hurts on the depth chart, but there is no team better prepared to lose a starting quarterback than Alabama right now in the country.
