Bold prediction: 100 total points are scored. Baker Mayfield and Jacob Park are going to have a good ‘ol fashioned Big 12 shootout. If Zach Smith can go toe-to-toe with the Sooner defense then so can the Iowa State gunslinger. Oklahoma still wins by a comfortable margin, but if you like offense, you won’t want to miss a minute of this one.

Bold prediction: This is a one-score game going into the fourth quarter. A year ago Wake Forest found a way to competitive even with the opposition getting a sneak peek at their playbook. This year Wake is formidable on both sides of the ball and Clemson is due for a let-down game following a truly spectacular September. Clemson doesn’t falter, but the Tiger faithful do sweat just a bit.

Bold prediction: Saban’s mobile quarterback problem catches up to him. Calling for an A&M upset would be bold, but perhaps even bolder would be a thrashing of the vaunted Alabama defense. True freshman Kellen Mond has displayed burst on the ground so far this season including a near 89-yard touchdown run (inadvertently called out of bounds by an official) against Arkansas. The Aggies lay down the blueprint for beating the Tide and Clemson et al. are taking notes.
