2. Crawford and McKoy break through TCU’s front seven

TCU has not seen a running back duo quite like senior running back Justin Crawford and sophomore running back Kennedy McKoy yet. The combination of those two with halfback Elijah Wellman gives the Mountaineers one of the most versatile offenses in the country.

Crawford leads the Mountaineers in rushing yards with 451 on 61 carries and six touchdowns. McKoy is second with 204 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Both Crawford and McKoy are averaging at least 6.5 yards per carry through four games.

TCU’s defense did have to face the Arkansas Razorbacks already. Yet, while Arkansas is normally a strong rushing team, they’re not the same that they were in the past. In fact, a true freshman leads the Hogs in rushing yards.

Arkansas and Oklahoma State are the two toughest tests that the TCU front seven has faced. They’re a talented bunch, led by senior linebacker Travin Howard, but the West Virginia rushing attack could get the best of them.
