A week removed from a massacre at the hands of the Crimson Tide, the Ole Miss Rebels are destined to fall to Auburn Football in their Week 6 tilt. Here’s why.

Auburn fell off the national radar after dropping a close contest to the defending national champions in Week 2. While the loss wasn’t what they wanted, being out of the spotlight for a little bit has served this team well.

Rather than try to put up gaudy numbers, they’ve been able to work through some kinks and get themselves ready for a tough SEC slate that doesn’t ease up much as the season goes on.

Ole Miss has been in a different place. The spotlight has faded from them, but they weren’t exactly welcoming it to begin with. Facing a season of purgatory, bowl-less with an interim coach, the Rebels seem a bit rudderless. After a 2-0 start against South Alabama and UT-Martin, the Rebels have looked not-so-great against Cal and horrendous in an execution at the hands of Alabama.

While these teams are separated by just a few wins, they couldn’t be headed in more different directions. Auburn should handle their business easily against Ole Miss and improve to 5-1. To dissuade any fears or hopes of a Rebel upset, here are five reasons the Auburn will beat Ole Miss.
