Notre Dame football heads to Chapel Hill to take on North Carolina in Week 6 of the college football season. Here are three bold predictions for the upcoming contest.

With Notre Dame looking the best they have since their 2012 National Championship run, head coach Brian Kelly has to be confident heading into a Week 6 matchup with the North Carolina Tar Heels. The Irish have played great this season, defeating all who stood in their way outside of a fifth ranked Georgia squad. One week removed from a dominating win over Miami of Ohio, UNC is next.

‘Defeating’ would be an understatement when looking at the box score, as Notre Dame has put up over 45 points three times this season. This kind of production is far removed from what Irish fans were used to seeing a year ago when a DeShone Kizer led offense averaged just over 30 points a game.

The Irish would love to once again come out strong against a defense that struggles mightily against the run. A combination of a poor run defense and Notre Dame’s explosive ground game could set up for some crazy numbers. With that said, here are three bold predictions for the Irish as they face off against UNC.
