Arkansas football looks to start its long road in the SEC this week but what could be in store for the month of October?

The Arkansas football season is only four games into the season and ahead of them lies a tough road. October could be the month of redemption for Bret Bielema and the Hogs or possibly the beginning of the end.

Starting the season out, Arkansas has won two cupcakes and lost two Power 5 games. The first was an embarrassing 28-7 loss to TCU. The very next week, after leading at the half, Arkansas lost to Texas A&M in overtime. This loss put Arkansas under Bret Bielema winless against the Aggies since they joined the SEC in 2012.

For fans of the Razorbacks, Coach Bielema’s yearly, “the wins will come” speech is getting old and they’re looking for one thing in Bret’s fifth year. Results. TCU was a game the Hog faithful anticipated losing but A&M turned Bielema’s seat from hot to nearly melting very quickly.

Were these games a true indication of Arkansas? It’s a question not many are wanting to ask, including myself. The blame game and uncharacteristic losses have caused widespread apathy for the Razorback fans but is there any chance October could be “The Month of the Rising Pheonix” for Arkansas?

Out of the ashes of tribulation’s fire, we could see something happen no one expected. Bret Bielema could lead the Razorbacks on a march through the SEC and show everyone, the wins HAVE come. Here’s what I predict could happen in October for the Razorbacks.
