1. Arkansas enters November with hope

Above this last part is a picture that I have a lot of emotion towards. Most Razorback fans do. For those who might not know what it is, this is a picture of the Golden Boot Trophy, however, this picture was taken on a cold November night, back in 2014. It was the night Arkansas came alive and got that first SEC win over LSU. It was the night we tasted success.

Since then, Arkansas has had a bumpy road. They’ve lost some they should have definitely won and won a few they definitely should have lost. Arkansas fans have been divided and with each loss, the division greatens. Some want Bielema gone while others believe him to be doing a wonderful job.

I am not going to tell you that one side is right or that one side is wrong but what I am going to do as ask for a transcendence of sides. If you’re an Arkansas fan, do me a favor and look at this picture. Look at that trophy and ask yourself what it felt like to be a Razorback that frigid November night.

I can say from my perspective that looking at this picture makes me remember the hope that I had almost given up on since hearing Bielema close out the 2013 season. More than anything it gives me pride. It’s a rare pride that only someone who grew up with the Razorbacks could understand.

Whether or not Arkansas comes out 3-1, we as fans should try to remember that although you may be frustrated and disagree with others on the future, we are all prideful and thus hopeful of the same things. We all want to taste that success.

As October is starting and the outcome remains to be seen, I predict that Arkansas could very well bounce back and give fans renewed hope going into November, which is the time of year no one wants to play Arkansas regardless of their record. Don’t believe me? Ask a Rebel Bear fan.
