UCLA Football: 5 bold predictions for the Bruins in October
By Zach Bigalke
3. JJ Molson, Darren Andrews will both go over 10 points per game
We have already talked about Darren Andrews some earlier. The redshirt senior is dominating opposing secondaries, and he leads UCLA with seven receiving touchdowns through his first five games of the year. Andrews is one of five players around the country with seven scoring catches, and he will add to that mark further over the next three games.
Colorado held him scoreless on the last day of September. But Andrews will come out of the bye week refreshed and ready to take on the Pac-12 schedule. The leading receiver on the UCLA roster is going to continue dominating opponents as he gets at least five touchdown catches over the next three games and also runs in at least one touchdown on a jet sweep.
With six October touchdowns all by himself, Andrews is going to lead a truly dominant UCLA offense to contention in every game it plays, and he will come close to challenging the record for most points per game over the course of a season. But he is not the only bright spot for a Bruins team that has played admirably in both victory and defeat.
Kicker JJ Molson has also been a boon for the Bruins. Molson has averaged nine points per game with his leg, and will join Andrews in the chase for 10 points per game.
