The field in the College Football Playoff continues to change its look after the Oklahoma Sooners fell in Week 6. Here’s a look at this week’s projections.

Stability has been the key for this week’s group of projected College Football Playoff teams. The top four remaining teams remain undefeated in the playoff rankings. 13 total teams remain undefeated in FBS play after four of them fell in Week 6.

The No. 12 Oklahoma Sooners took a tumble in the AP Poll rankings after falling 31-24 at home to the Iowa State Cyclones. It puts a big hole in their attempt at a Big 12 Championship this season but they have a good chance of winning the remainder of their games.

The seventh-ranked Michigan Wolverines were another top team to fall in Week 6. Five turnovers by their offense cast a dark shadow over their 14-10 loss to the Michigan State Spartans. Coach Jim Harbaugh is 1-4 all-time against the Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan State Spartans so far as the Wolverines’ head coach.

The Georgia Bulldogs are one of the darkhorse undefeated teams to watch as they’re currently No. 6 in the AP Poll. At 6-0, the Bulldogs have shown why Kirby Smart was a good hire and with no Alabama on the schedule, they may be in the clear until the SEC Championship game.

One thing’s for sure, Penn State or another Big Ten team could find themselves on the outside looking in as the conference is looking better than ever. Michigan State’s victory over the Wolverines puts them right back in the talk for the Big Ten title.

Here’s a look at this week’s playoff projections until then. Conference Championship games are sure to play a big role this year in the College Football Playoff selection process.
