NFL Mock Draft 2018: Complete first round after Week 6
The Bengals could use a lot of things right now, especially on the offensive side of the ball, but they are focused on improving their pass rush. Cincinnati has struggled on offense this year, but there are quality pieces in place with Joe Mixon and AJ Green helping out Andy Dalton.
Harold Landry would be a nice pass rush addition for the Bengals as he’s been one of the best in college football for the past few years.
Although his numbers may be down a little this year, think of it this way: he’s being keyed on by opposing offenses as the only major threat on the Boston College defense. He’s still put up 25 total tackles, five tackles for loss and two sacks through five games for the struggling Eagles.
Landry would be a welcomed addition to the defense and he has a history of success in the pass rush game. In fact, he had 38 tackles for loss and 20 sacks in the two previous seasons. In my eyes, he’s the best pass-rushing threat in this draft class.
