RB. Penn State. Pick Analysis. Saquon Barkley. 8. player. 16. Scouting Report

The Bills have some decisions to make in the near future. They currently have four running backs on the roster who are all at least 28 years of age.

That might not seem like an issue considering Peyton Manning and Tom Brady have and are currently excelling in the league at the age of 40, but the shelf life of an NFL running back is around 29-30 years old. It’s short-lived, to say the least. These guys take a beating on a regular basis.

LeSean McCoy has been one of the better backs in the league over the past handful of years, but he’s currently 29 years old and constantly has injury concerns. The Bills could go with the best running back in the draft class, Saquon Barkley, with this top-10 pick.

Barkley is a freak of an athlete. He is a monster in the weight room as one of the strongest players on Penn State’s roster and he has speed on the field. He’s deadly in open space. The 5-foot-11, 230-pound Heisman candidate currently has 649 yards and six touchdowns on the season. He’s also a threat to catch the ball.
