1. Remember Christian Kirk?

Don’t worry, NFL scouts have not forgotten about Christian Kirk. But it does appear most of the casual college fans have.

Kirk hit the scene in 2015 and promptly posted a 1,000-yard receiving season with seven touchdowns and 80 catches. He added another 83 receptions for 928 yards and nine scores last year, but has failed to get on track with new quarterback Kellen Mond to date.

Through six games, Kirk has 316 yards and five scores, but hasn’t had that breakout performance. It looked like he was on his way after a 5-catch, 110-yard, 2-touchdown showing vs. South Carolina, but over the past two games, the junior has just eight catches for 65 yards.

Look for Kirk to finally get overdrive and do something special in this one. He is averaging almost 27 yards on 12 kickoff returns, including a 100-yard return for a touchdown.

With the spotlight on Gainesville, Kirk will want to impress and show why he is the best receiver in the country.

The Gators allow just 217 yards passing per game, but they have yet to face a wideout with the talent of Kirk.
