3. Baker Mayfield throws his first interception

There are two quarterbacks in the Heisman race that stand out above all else in terms of taking care of the football. One of those quarterbacks is sophomore Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts. The other is senior Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield.

So far, Mayfield has been perfect in throwing touchdown passes with 15 scores and no interceptions. That was one of the knocks against Mayfield is that he makes some brash decisions on the move.

The Texas defense could be the best in the Big 12. Defensive backs like DeShon Elliott have come up huge. Elliott himself has five interceptions already this season. And, those five picks have all come in the last three games for the Horns.

Chances are that Mayfield makes at least one mistake under the pressure of this matchup and the athletic Texas front seven. If he does, a number of Longhorns defensive backs will be waiting to be the first to pick off a Mayfield pass this year.
