UCLA football and Arizona meet this Saturday night in a key Pac-12 battle, with the winner gaining a strong foothold in the South division standings.

For the Wildcats and Rich Rodriguez, this is a perfect chance to prove they are legit contenders to Southern Cal. They get Josh Rosen and the Bruins at home for a night game.

Interestingly enough, both UCLA and Arizona are coming off wins over Colorado, which gives you a look to what we might expect.

The Bruins bested Colorado, 27-23, while the Wildcats scored a 45-42 victory. Last year in Pasadena inside the Rose Bowl, UCLA put a beating on Arizona, scoring a 45-24 victory as the two combined for 35 fourth quarter points.

There is still plenty to be played over these next several weeks, but the winner that comes out of Arizona Stadium will have a game up on the loser.

Expect plenty of “Pac-12 After Dark” talk from this one, even though it goes down a little earlier.

Here are three bold predictions for UCLA vs. Arizona.
