Bryce Love kept his Heisman push going strong out West and Stanford football proved they are still very much alive in the Pac-12 with a complete thrashing of Oregon Saturday night.

Bryce Love, who did his damage early in the contest, ran for 147 yards on just 17 carries, scoring two touchdowns. Stanford quarterback Keller Chryst had a coming out party for himself against the Duck defense and the Cardinal made fools out of Oregon’s quarterback duo of Braxton Burmeister and Taylor Allie.

Since starting the year 1-2 with losses to Southern Cal and San Diego State on the road, Stanford has reeled off four consecutive wins — all coming in conference play.

Head coach David Shaw again looks like a Coach of the Year candidate as he leads his team into the final five games of the season.

Oregon, meanwhile, must figure out what they are doing at quarterback until Justin Herbert returns and also who they can plug-in on the defensive side of the ball after giving up at least 30 points for a fourth time.

Here are three takeaways from the contest.
