Arkansas football once again found itself on the losing end of an SEC matchup, this time against Alabama. The Hogs are struggling and out of answers.

Arkansas has had a long season to say the least. With the recent loss to Alabama, they have fallen to 0-3 in conference play and are once again bottom dwellers in the SEC West. With a coach on the hot seat, this isn’t exactly what the Razorbacks had in mind.

Prior to the game, Arkansas social media was all about getting fans pumped for the matchup. Although, just a scroll through the reply thread shows that fans were less than excited for the upcoming beatdown.

Arkansas held their own, in terms of games against Alabama at least, but it wasn’t enough to cool down a hot seat and to be anywhere close to what the Tide put up. This team, while physical, lacks the teamwork and seemingly talent to stand toe to toe with much of the SEC that surrounds them.

The Hogs have a long way to go to become contenders and it would seem that likely this will start with a new coach by the end of the season. This team needs help on all sides of the ball and fast. However, we are here to discuss what happened on Saturday. Here are my five overreactions on the match up between the Tide and the Hogs.
