After a close loss to Alabama, Texas A&M football took care of business in The Swamp. The win pushes the Aggies to 5-2 on the season.
Texas A&M football opened the season with an embarrassing loss to UCLA, a team that has struggled since. However, the Aggies have all but put that in their rear view mirror as the they are surging strong. The team fell last week to Alabama, though only by eight points, and then headed to Gainesville to take on the Gators for the first time since 1962.
The game was a close one, coming down to the leg of Daniel LaCamera as the Florida red zone defense made themselves known early and often. However, the Aggies came out victorious and found themselves sawin’ em off to a huge win at The Swamp.

The Texas A&M defense has found a way to be dominant week in and week out since the extreme lack of effort shown in the second half of UCLA. They have been the key to many victories for the Aggies, currently run by freshman quarterback Kellen Mond, have been looking for consistency and strengths on both sides of the ball. They seem to have found it heading into bye week.
To hold you over during a week without Aggie Football, here are my five overreactions to the win over Florida on Saturday night.
