It was a crazy week in college football and the SEC football was no different. The Auburn loss to LSU shakes up the SEC Power Rankings for week 8. Check out where Auburn and the rest of the conference sit in this weeks edition of rankings.

Auburn had a 20-0 lead in Baton Rogue and looked certain of winning the game. LSU had other ideas. The Bayou Bengals rallied and scored head coach Ed Orgeron his best, and most important win of his career to this date. The LSU offense took it to Auburn’s defense and for the first time all year, Auburn’s defense wasn’t able to get enough stops. Kerryon Johnson was spectacular again, but it wasn’t enough to save the Tigers.

Elsewhere in the conference, Texas A&M scored a huge win against Florida. Vanderbilt extended their losing streak to four games by getting throttled by Ole Miss. Mississippi State got an easy win over BYU. Alabama was Alabama and ran over Arkansas with relative ease.

That’s just a few highlights of what was a crazy weekend in the college football world. Week 8 in the SEC has a couple good matchups, but only 9 of the 14 teams in the conference play this week. Despite that we get rivalry games between LSU and Ole Miss, as well as Tennessee and Alabama.

Let’s jump into the rankings, beginning with Missouri, although give them credit, they (or at least the offense) tried their hardest to get out of this spot.
