The Buffaloes got their first Pac-12 win against Oregon State in Week 7. Their offense still has not been consistent or potent, but did show flashes of life last week. While their defense is solid, the Buffaloes are going to need to score in bunches against the Cougars in Week 8.

The Bruins are an explosive offense that can score in bunches against any defense in the nation. Their defense is porous and graciously invites the opposing teams’ offense into the end zone. It’s hard not to feel bad for Josh Rosen who is doing a fantastic job quarterbacking the Bruins. He has so much pressure to score points that at times it causes him to force some passes. The Bruins defense has a prime matchup against the anemic Ducks offense.

What a turn of evens for the Ducks. They have gone from one of the best offenses in the country to one of the absolute worst. There is one common denominator, Justin Herbert. The Ducks lost their starting quarterback, and all their offense. Willie Taggart and the offensive coordinator have their hands full with trying to find a way to get a passing attack going with their true freshman Burmeister under center.
