2. Stopping James Washington is too much for the Horns

Senior Oklahoma State wide receiver James Washington could very well be the best in the country at his position. Furthermore, this entire Oklahoma State receiving corps is the best in the nation as well.

Washington is on pace for his best season in his college career, and that says a lot for a receiver who racked up more than 1,400 yards and 10 scores last year. He’s caught 36 passes for 883 yards and seven touchdowns through six games.

In the Baylor game alone, Washington totaled 237 yards and two touchdowns on six catches. His worst game this season was a 98-yard, and one touchdown, performance against the South Alabama Jaguars.

Stopping Washington, Marcell Ateman, Jalen McCleskey, Tyron Johnson, Dillon Stoner, etc. is going to be tough for this Texas defense. They have yet to face a receiver even close to the level of Washington yet this season.
