Arkansas Football: 3 bold predictions vs. Auburn in Week 8
By Shelbie Warr
After skyrocketing to No. 10 in the nation, Auburn fell to LSU last week in Death Valley. They will look to bounce back against Arkansas football Saturday.
The Auburn Tigers have been a force to be reckoned with this season, but that force took a big hit on Saturday against LSU. Despite a strong first half, they were shut out the entirety of the second allowing a big comeback by LSU. This team still has all the keys to be a competitor this season, but it will all rely on how they bounce back from this loss.
Auburn will face the Arkansas Razorbacks in Fayetteville on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. This game shapes up to be the perfect bounce back for the Tigers. Arkansas has struggled this season to say the least, unable to find an identity or a conference win so far. They will look to change that against the Tigers at home, although it seems that it will be a tall task.
To find victory, Arkansas will need to establish chemistry on offense without Austin Allen who is out with injury. It is still unsure if his injury is actually a set back for the Hogs, as his season has been a mess to say the least.
True freshman quarterback Cole Kelley didn’t look all that bad against Alabama last week under the circumstances. He will face a reeling Tiger team looking for his first win as a starter. Auburn will be looking for a bounce back. Here are my three bold predictions for the matchup.
